Accessibility Statement

Pookie & Sebastian wants everyone to be able to browse and shop our website, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control or keyboard-only navigation.

Our goal

We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we know some parts of the site may not yet fully meet this standard.

What we're doing

We review our website with automated testing and manual keyboard checks, and we fix issues as we find them. Recent work includes:

• Clearer focus indicators for keyboard users, and a "Skip to content" link
• Menus, the cart and pop-up panels that can be opened, used and closed with a keyboard
• Moving and auto-rotating content stops when you hover over it or move keyboard focus into it, and stays still if your device is set to reduce motion
• Text descriptions for product and page images, and labels for links, buttons, size and colour options, and form fields
• A more consistent heading structure to help with screen-reader navigation
• Improved colour contrast for text placed over images

Known limitations

Some parts of our site are provided by third parties, including checkout, international pricing and shipping (Global-e), reviews, our rewards program and some sign-up forms. We work with these providers to improve accessibility but don't fully control their content.
